We will exhibit at the community stand of the CAE-Forum (Hannover Messe 2019), where we will also present the application of our technology in the Industry 4.0.
The CAE community stand provides information about the important disciplines of the engineering world with its core issues numerical simulation, 3D visualization (augmented reality / virtual reality) and additive manufacturing (3D printing). Those are the core issues of today’s discussion on digitalization and Industry 4.0.
As part of the current industry trends, many automotive companies have introduced the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Autonomous Drive (AD) to reduce the number of accidents. However, the validation of ADAS systems today is still a difficult task to achieve and validating by road testing is not a financially viable solution as it is estimated that hundreds of millions of km are required for some sort of system validation. Therefore, it is mandatory to develop a simulations approach in which the ADAS control systems, integrated with sensors and actuators, vehicle dynamics, inter-vehicle behavior and traffic environment are simulated.
ESTECO's Alexandre Mugnai will present how our optimization-driven design technology helps OEMs to conduct accurate numerical simulations to assess and validate ADAS control systems.
