On September 16, 2024 we celebrated our quarter century by opening our very own exhibit at the Science Center - Immaginario Scientifico in Trieste.
We’ve set up a permanent educational exhibition corner dedicated to explaining engineering design and numerical optimization to kids visiting the museum with their school or families. With this exhibit, our goal is to give people firsthand experience of the importance of simulation and optimization in designing complex products. We came up with the idea of letting people try to design the perfect car with the best possible aerodynamics.
“We've always had an inclination to work internationally. Just think that Japan accounts for almost half of our revenue. However, our connection to the local community is strong, especially with scientific institutions such as the Science Center - Immaginario Scientifico, which we have been supporting for several years. We therefore wanted to take advantage of this milestone to contribute to the museum's offer through the topics we know best.”
We decided to celebrate this milestone in the city where it all started in 1999. Yesterday, at the Old Port of Trieste our three founders retraced ESTECO history during the interview by the scientific journalist Simona Regina. It was nice to hear from their voices the stories and achievements of these last 25 years, and how they envisage the company’s future.
Several local authorities and stakeholders joined to offer their greetings and express their appreciation for the milestone achieved.
We also held a private party at the Science Center - Immaginario Scientifico in the Old Port of Trieste for our HQ employees. It was great for all of us to meet there together and play with the new exhibit to design the perfect car.
